Clear Your Virginia Criminal Record
Eight steps, start to finish. A real attorney handles every one of them.
Answer a few questions about your case. It takes about 5 minutes. You get an instant answer. This answer is not final.
A real person looks at every case. We follow up with you personally. The computer does not make the final call.
If your case looks good, we send you a letter. It explains the work and the $1,500 fee. You pay before we start. All fees are non-refundable once we file your petition with the court.
We prepare your Petition for Sealing. We send notice to the Commonwealth's Attorney. Then we file with the court.
They can look at your petition. They can object if they choose to. If they object, a hearing becomes very likely — that's their decision and the court's, not ours. We can't stop it.
Not every case needs a hearing. If yours does, you must attend it, or your petition will be dismissed. So the hearing itself is required, not optional — and that means the cost of an attorney appearing with you is required too. We give you that cost as soon as we know a hearing is needed, and it must be paid before we can schedule it.
A judge makes the final call. We argue for you. We can't promise a result.
If the judge says yes, your record is sealed.
